Our First Tornado Sirens

We are safe and sound after a wild night! The sirens went off about 7:30, so we woke Luke up and herded the cats into the basement to hang out and listen to the radio for a little while. It was quite a night, even by Chicagoan standards (it led the news for 15 minutes). But, we are just fine and no damage to report. And, Luke was back asleep by 8:30. Mike looked at me and said, "Welcome back to the Midwest." At least we have a basement now.
