A Family Outing to the Arboretum

It was a gorgeous day so we decided to do what everyone else was doing and head to the Arboretum. The leaves are just starting to change but still some neat colors! They have an amazing children's garden with all sorts of discovery areas. So, we let Luke get a little dirty and have some fun with the big kids. It will be wonderful to take him back over the next couple of years as he grows. And, I'm sure we'll get better at getting him to look at the camera.

Yummy! Sand and dirt and stuff!

Ah...back at home after a very exciting day. So much excitement that it's good to sit on the couch and watch some football.

Look how nice and 'warm' it was again on a weekend, I noticed - no jackets. Glad you had a nice trip.

I love the Arboretum! Luke is probably way too small for it now, but it now, but when he gets older, make sure to take the Big Rock hike! Its a short and sweet hike, and the kids love climbing on the Big Rock at the end!
